Juniper Creek

A new middle-grade, Christian fiction series coming soon

Girl in the Barn, Road Home, and Uprooted, the first three books of the Juniper Creek series, will release together in mid-2026.

About Juniper Creek

Juniper Creek is a contemporary middle grade series set in a small, rural town where life moves a little slower and relationships run deep. These are modern-day stories—grounded in real life, not fantasy—where kids navigate challenges, friendships, and family in ways that feel both honest and hopeful.

At its heart, Juniper Creek reflects the kind of childhood many of us remember and want to preserve. Gravel roads, creek beds, open fields, and front porches become the backdrop for stories that are rich in meaning without being heavy.

These books are written for middle grade readers, but they’re created with parents in mind—especially moms who want to feel confident in what their children are reading. Juniper Creek is a place where stories remain gentle, meaningful, and rooted in truth.

Stories that Shape Hearts

At its core, the Juniper Creek series is about what matters most—belonging, courage, friendship, and the quiet ways a child begins to understand who they are.

Middle grade is a formative season. It’s when children begin asking deeper questions, noticing the world around them, and forming the beliefs that will stay with them into adulthood. The stories they read during this time matter more than we often realize.

That’s why every story in Juniper Creek is written with intention—to nurture courage, reinforce identity, and reflect the steady, faithful presence of God in everyday life.

A Place Parents Can Trust

As both a writer and a mom, I understand how important it is to know what is shaping your child’s heart and mind.

Juniper Creek was created to be a safe and trustworthy space for young readers. These books are free from graphic or heavy content and instead focus on emotional depth, healthy relationships, and meaningful growth.

While the stories are not preachy, they are grounded in a Christian worldview—gently reflecting truth, hope, and the kind of faith that meets us in real, everyday moments.

Free Parent Guide

As a parent, I've always loved stories that do more than entertain. I love stories that spark questions, encourage meaningful conversations, and help children think about faith and life in a deeper way.

That's the heart behind the Juniper Creek Parent Guides. Each free guide includes discussion questions, character studies, Scripture connections, and conversation starters designed to help families explore the themes found within the books. Whether you're reading together at home, in a classroom, or as part of a homeschool curriculum, these guides offer practical ways to connect the stories to real-life conversations about faith, friendship, belonging, forgiveness, courage, and God's faithfulness.

My hope is that these resources help families grow closer together—and closer to God—as they journey through Juniper Creek.

Rooted in Simplicity and Connection

In a world that often feels fast-paced and overwhelming, Juniper Creek offers something slower and steadier.

Here, kids ride bikes down gravel roads, wade through the creek, build friendships that feel like family, and learn life lessons not through chaos, but through connection, challenge, and care.

It’s a return to the kind of storytelling that protects childhood while still honoring the depth of a child’s inner world.
